I am a software engineer with a degree in computer science and a PhD student at Arizona State University researching the application of data mining tools and computation to the field of history and philosophy of science. I am the Head of Development and co-founder of the Digital Innovation Group in the Center for Biology and Society. As such, I manage agile software development projects and direct the design, implementation, and testing of multi-tier software applications and RESTful web services. I have a strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming (OOD/OOP) and 8 years of Java programming experience in developing software using frameworks such as the Eclipse Rich Client Platform (Eclipse RCP), Spring 3 and JSF.
